Keystone College Students help landscape College Avenue and Civic Club Way 2004.
Sustaining the Trees of Factoryville, Phase One and Two These grants allowed us to plant trees along multiple streets in the borough. We also started assessment of all the street trees in the borough. This will allow us to inspect tree health and determine which trees need pruning or removal. Some of our older trees are declining and starting to be of a concern to the safety of our streets. Through assessment with a certified arborist we will priortize trees that need removal and plant new trees to replace the ones that must be removed. Our commission strives to plant 2 trees for every one tree that must be removed.
